Application Forms for NOC and Registration with Kerala State Blood Transfusion Council
- Registration with KSBTC is mandatory for all blood banks. Criterion for granting registration will be that of NABH. All Blood Banks except those in Government sector have to remit Rs.5000/- (Five Thousand only), as one time registration fees with in three months from the receipt of this letter. Blood Banks who have already paid the registration fee do not have to pay again. Registration will be given to the blood banks after necessary inspections. KSBTC will conduct regular inspections to monitor the standards of blood banks. Click here to download the application form for Registration.
- All Hospital/ Charitable institutions should get an NOC from KSBTC prior to submitting an application for the blood bank license. KSBTC shall verify the needs of a blood bank in that institution or in that particular geographical area and issue NOC for those who are eligible to start Blood bank as per the guidelines issued by NBTC. Hospital/ Charitable institution, whose applications for NOC are rejected are not eligible for applying blood bank license. KSBTC will not be responsible for any infrastructure developed by the applicant, without getting sanction from KSBTC and loss of any kind shall have to be born by the applicant itself. - For the renewal of blood bank license, the licensee should get an NOC from KSBTC, for which they should apply at least three months prior to the expiry of the license.
