Spandanam, a capacity building program launched by Kerala State AIDS Control Society for the Anganwadi workers to extend the HIV preventive activities to the grassroots of the society. Holistic prevention of HIV AIDS in corresponding regions through Anganwadis is what aimed by Spandanam. To make every one aware of HIV and AIDS, especially women, reduce the stigma and discrimination towards HIV positives, and to get them aware of the service centres like Prathyasa, Pulari, Ushus, Suraksha and Jyothis are the objectives of Spandanam.
