AIDS Day Observance by Little Flower Hospital & Research Centre


As part of the World AIDS Day observance, a survey was conducted on whether HIV test is to be made mandatory before marriage by the Little Flower Hospital and Research Centre, Ernakulam. In the survey 80% of the people supported the suggestion.


A seminar on social aspects of HIV/AIDS was organised. A poster exhibition and a power point presentation on HIV/AIDS, its global statistics, mode of transmission, preventive measures, post exposure prophylaxis, need of HIV test, methods of test and social aspects of the disease were also conducted on the Day.


About 500 people attended the program
