N.S.S. units of Vimala College, Thrissur and Red Ribbon Club jointly organized an Awareness Programme on Blood Donation and also conducted a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp (VBD) on 10th July 2009. The VBD camp was inaugurated by Dr. Sr. Lissy John Irimpan, Principal, Vimala College. Dr. K.R. Anandan, Associate Professor, MES Medical College was the Resource Person during the programme. Twenty Eight students donated blood and about hundred students got their blood groups confirmed during the camp.
