KSACS has opened an Integrated Counseling and Testing Centre (ICTC) at the Central Jail, Viyyur. Create awareness about HIV among the prisoners and conduct blood testing and counseling for the prisoners are the objectives of this initiative taken by KSACS. So far, KSACS has started this kind of HIV prevention activities at six jails in Kerala.

The ICTC that was opened at Viyyur is well-equipped with fine infrastructure. The prisoners with special sub-jail, Viyyur, and sub-jail Chavakkad and Iringaalakkuda are also included with this ICTC.

The centre was inaugurated by Mr. Badaruddeen, DIG, Central Zone, Jail. Mr. B. Pradeep, Superintendent, Jail presided over the function. Dr. K.R. Biju, Medical Officer, Jail, Mr. K. Anil Kumar, Jailer, Mr. Romeo, Jailer, Mr. Santhosh. T.G, Welfare Officer, counselors Mr. Sanal Devasya and Mr. Prasanth spoke during the inaugural function.
