Training of Trainers(TOT)


The Training on infection prevention and reduction of stigma and Discrimination in health care settings emphasizes on giving the health care providers to the awareness on the modes of HIV/AIDS clinical management and counseling, to change the attitude of health care providers, while giving them practical knowledge and tools to assure both client rights and help to meet their own needs for a safe work environment.

The significance of this training and introduction to ENGENDER HEALTH was given by the Country Director of Engender Health, Dr.BP Singh. ENGENDER HEALTH gives the technical support to TOT training.

The training style is different but interesting. The lectures in this training were more participative in nature. The sessions were very active with the enthusiastic participation of trainees. There were live demonstration on standard use of gloves and protective altire,on waste disposal methods etc.

The training was attended by the Project Director of Kerala State AIDS Control Society(KSACS). The Project Director addressed the participants .
