The logo of Kerala SACS

The logo of Kerala State AIDS Control Society is conceived from the latest trends and current developments in the HIV / AIDS sector.

The red ribbon in the middle is the international symbol of HIV and AIDS awareness. The red ribbon is a simple way in which we can, as individuals or in groups, declare our support for people living with and affected by HIV / AIDS. The green ribbon on the left of the red ribbon indicates the acceptance and care given to people living with HIV / AIDS in their family. The blue ribbon on the right of the red ribbon indicates the acceptance and care given to people living with HIV / AIDS in the society. The three ribbons together indicate social responsibility to work together for combating HIV and AIDS.

Independently, the green ribbon represents Kerala through its greenery and the blue ribbon represents Kerala through its backwaters.

The new logo came into place during March 2006. It was developed by Stark Communications, Thiruvananthapuram.
